Resort will be built on a 2.2 hectare 20-year government issued land concession, spanning from the main road to the beach. The property features 154 meters of beachfront. The concession is issued by the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT) and the local Municipality of Cobano. Santa Teresa is located in the southwest tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, on the Pacific Shores of Costa Rica. It is located in the Province of Puntarenas, and the region is developed under a strict regulatory plan. All approved designs meet the existing norms and regulations.

Santa Teresa is an up and coming beach destination with impressive growth in services and popularity. It currently ranks as the #1 destination in Central America as listed in Trip Advisor. Over the last 10 years, the region has solidified its market positioning as a luxury destination for young travelers, with emphasis on surfing, yoga and wellness. While all hotels in the region are small, the area features a healthy combination of houses, villas, condos and B & Bs available for rent by tourists. The region is frequented by Costa Ricans and foreign residents, along with international tourists of all nationalities. It has quickly developed into one of the favorite beach towns in the country, offering a remarkable variety of nightlife and culinary offering.

Santa Teresa is located 45 minutes from the Tambor airport, a local airstrip with daily scheduled arrivals from San Jose, serviced by both Nature Air and Sansa. In addition, the airport receives charter flights from both international airports as well as inter-regional flights. Flying from San Jose to Tambor takes 30 minutes.
Nantipa is a word in the Chorotega Language that means Blue. The Chorotegans were the native tribe than inhabited the Nicoya Peninsula at the time Columbus and the Spaniards arrived in Costa Rica in the early 1500s.
