Community involvement - 1st Choice Realty

1st Choice Realty is a Proud Supporter of the Following Community Organizations and Efforts:

CEPIA - Center providing educational courses, extra curricular activities, and social services for youth in the area. Office manager Nova Noelia Everson volunteers to teach English to high school students through CEPIA.

Road Reparation through Tamarindo and Langosta, and to Playa Grande - homes and villages along side the road suffer from the amount of dust on these roads. The municipality is slow to do the work so community efforts are being made to fix the roads.

1st Choice Realty's Community Involvement

1^st Choice Realty recently adopted the corner of the main intersection in Huacas, a small town outside of Tamarindo. We noticed that litter is becoming a big problem in the area, we decided to do something about it instead of just complain about the unpleasant sight.

We took a few hours out of our Sunday afternoon to pick up trash and cut down out of date signs from the fence. It was hot and humid, but we had fun, and at the end we had filled up seven gigantic trash bags!

We are committed to maintaining this corner, keeping it clean, and eventually landscaping it with some nice trees and shrubs. We hope that 1^st Choice Realty will set an example for other companies to start adopting other stretches of road around the area as well. The area is growing fast and we know that we have to play an active role in order to keep it beautiful. We’ll keep you posted…
